Ms. Samantha L. Segal, Esquire has over 19 years of regulatory law compliance practice experience including confidential government public sector investigations, inter-departmental investigations with local/state/and federal prosecutors, adjudications, and trials in private sector and public sector law. Ms. Segal is admitted to the Bar in New York 2004 and New Jersey 2003 and is a graduate of Rutgers University, 2000 with a BA in Psychology, and the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center of Touro College, with a J.D. in 2003. Ms. Segal is an Active Member of the American Bar Association, New York Bar Association, City of New York Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, and New Jersey Bar Association. Ms. Segal advised her Board of Directors, hundreds of elected officials, performed compliance audits, and created the County Ethics Law Compliance training program lecturing at over 50 CLE's with over 3,000 public officials.
Prior to being a public sector attorney, Ms. Segal practiced medical malpractice defense and general liability defense at two large insurance defense firms. Ms. Segal also held the prestigious positions during law school as an employed NYS Unified Court Systems Judicial Intern at the Offices of the District Administrative Judge, assigned to County of Suffolk Justice Hon. Thomas Whelan, was a criminal law clinic law student intent of Touro Law School at New York County Defenders Services in Manhattan, a research assistant to Touro Law Center Criminal Law Professor, Peter Davis,a teaching assistant to Touro Law Center Contracts Professor, Sydney Kwestel, and was an election law intern at Hill Wallack, LLP, in Princeton NJ.
